    极度的悲观主义

    知道自己悲观，不知道自己如此悲观。
     
    听了一个心理学的讲座，讲happiness的，觉得有趣，去讲座教授推荐的一个website去看了看。这是个叫www.authentichappiness.com的网站，有一些survey和测试，其中一个就是乐观程度的测试，有五项结果，好/坏事的永久性，好/坏事的广泛性，和希望感。我的结果是三项是average的程度，对好事的广泛性很悲观，而希望感的结果是hopeless，低于绝大多数人。
     
    有一项statistics是按教育程度分的，间接显示教育程度越高，悲观感越低。和我想象的完全不一样，因为看过一篇哲学文章说喜欢思考的人会更悲观一点。也许这篇文章有问题，也也许教育程度高和喜欢思考根本就没关系。
     
    hopeless啊，hopeless...

    The Simpsons Quotes

    The Simpsons is my favorite TV cartoon series. I watched almost every episode, and waiting for the new one every Sunday 8pm, in front of my TV set. I found some of the quotes are really interesting, and worth sharing them with everyone! Enjoy~
    1. Bart: "Look at me, I'm a graduate student. I'm thirty years old, and I made 300 dollars last year."
      Marge: "Bart, don't make fun of grad students. They just made a terrible life choice. "
    2. Homer (to Bart): "And if you get kicked out of that one (school), you're going straight in the army, where you'll be sent straight to America's latest military quagmire. Where will it be? North Korea? Iran? Anything's possible with Commander Cuckoo-Bananas in charge."
    3. (The dog ran into the nursery for the Aged) Marge: "He must smell left-overs". Nurse: "Please, we call them senior citizens."
    4.  Marge: "Well, I like T-shirt with a nice Joke, like 'support our troops'."
    5. Lisa: "Well, some of my report ... uh...wasn't fact-checked."
      Homer: "Hahaha, my little girl is just like CBS news."
    6. Marge:"Homer, no! Revenge never solved anything!" 
      Homer:"Then what's American doing in Iraq?"
    7. Bart:"What's with the Canadian flag on your backpack? "
      Lisa:"Well, some people in Europe have the impression that America has made some stupid choices in the past...five years. So for next week, I'm from Canada." 
    8. Homer: "if you really want something in this life, you have to work for it. Now, quiet! They're about to announce the lottery numbers..." 
    9. Selma (to the little child she just adopted in China):"Lin, you will be very happy in America, unlike everyone else there."

    阿拉斯加的熊啊，我来啦~

    心一横，脚一踩，就把机票定了，七月份，11天。希望到时候老板作美，老天作美。阿拉斯加真是贵啊，如果不是用了UA 25,000 miles换的机票，又够我再去一趟阿根廷了。大致计划如下，顺便问一句，有人想同去么？
     
    Day1 arrive Anchorage at 9pm, stay at a hostel
    Day2 drive to Denali National Park (~4 hrs), take campsite shuttle to wonder lake campground, hiking around, admire the sunset of Mount McKinley, and wildlife watch, stay at wonder lake campground, http://www.nps.gov/dena/
    Day 3 Denali National Park, hike around, watch the sled dog show, have dinner and watch show at dinner theater, stay at campsite
    Day 4 drive to Valdez (~8 hrs), overlook trail, stay at Bestwestern (wireless access)
